Geology and terrain
Brown stone, oceans and a paired world
Komashi is an ocean world dominated by brown stone and linked gravitationally to UTol. Its surface has been altered repeatedly, leaving regions with different fertility and stability.
Climate and atmosphere
A shroud, steamwells and a red-orange sun
Persistent atmospheric cover, subterranean heat and a red-orange sun shape the climate. Steamwells bring water and warmth to small habitable basins.
Biosphere
Ecological recovery after collapse
The known biosphere includes recovering plants, crops and organisms adapted to warm ground and low water. Large regions remain damaged or hidden beneath the shroud.
Habitats
Steamwell basins and protected cities
Permanent settlement developed around steamwells, where heat and water make agriculture possible. Outside these basins, soil and visibility limit habitation.
Open questions
A planet rebuilding from incomplete evidence
The original biosphere, the geography beneath the shroud and the relationship between both planets' climates remain open problems.
